ArcGIS Server

 

This workshop will provide professional development on how to build ArcGIS services to be used as basemaps, which will include attaching to services in ArcGIS desktop software.  The services will also be built into web applications that can be used to display information via the internet.  Creation and the use of geodatabases will be discussed.  This workshop will assume that the software has been installed and the server configured. Difference between Server 9.3.1 and 10 will also be discussed. Participants should be experienced with the use of ArcGIS Desktop software.

Instructor: Vince DiNoto

Workshop will meet in Room 108 of the Business Building.

 

This workshop will be held on the Southwest Campus of Jefferson Community and Technical College. The college is located at 1000 Community College Drive, Louisville, KY 40272.

  • to enhance the expertise of high school, community college, and technical college IT faculty;
  • to support and enhance IT initiatives across the Commonwealth; and
  • to increase the support and participation of business, government, and industry.
